Web Application / API Services Developer – Senior Level (FI3) Job Description :

  • This role is for an experienced senior level Application Developer.
  • Applicant's resume should articulate the ability to develop and use exceptionally more complex concepts & processes, conduct root cause analysis, and develop technical solutions to problems while prioritizing across multiple tasks.
  • Candidates should have experience leading teams of junior level and mid-level developers.
  • Well qualified candidates will have experience evaluating and recommending new technology and improving processes based upon cost, risk, and mission needs.

    • The selected individual will be assigned to a scrum team within the development organization supporting numerous activities including :

  • Work at the leadership and team management level, overseeing and monitoring tasks Planning, conducting, and coordinating agile software development activities Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to critical mission issues Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle Applying knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business / mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software Correcting program errors, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls Ensuring software standards are defined and met Basic Qualifications : Meet minimum education and experience requirements : Master’s Degree with 12 years experience Bachelor’s degree with 14 years experience Associates with 15 years of experience HS Diploma with 18 years experience Experience working with a Scrum Master or Project Coordinator Java development experience Ability to work with XML Ability to be flexible in supporting dynamic user needs Strong troubleshooting skills Proven experience in COTS / FOSS integration and support Experience with multiple operating system environments including LINUX and Windows Ability to learn and implement new technologies Ability to maintain TS / SCI clearance with FSP Preferred Qualifications : Large scale software development experience : develop / modify / troubleshoot Java code Familiar with COTS Integration Agile development experience Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) using VersionOne, Angular, DOJO, Oracle Weblogic, Tomcat, Oracle DBMS, Postgres DBMS, SQL, PL / SQL, UNIX / LINUX operating Systems, Experience with HTML, Selenium, JavaScript, EJB, Webservices Microservices leveraging Docker & Kubernetes, REST, XML, UML, Eclipse or Netbeans, Deployment architectures including Continuous Integration Pipeline build concepts leveraging : Docker, Git / JIRA, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Conductor, Kafka / Zookeeper, Consul, CMDB Big data technologies to include Data Ingest (JSON, Kafka, Microservices, Elastic Search), Analytics (HIVE, SPARK, R, PIG, OOZIE workflows), Elasticsearch, Hadoop (HIVE data, OOZIE, Spark, PIG, IMPALA, HUE), COTS Integration (Knowi, MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL RDS, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Zookeeper, Consul, HADOOP / HDFS), Docker and Chef) CISSP Certification   Benefits : - 5 Weeks Paid Time Off - 10% contribution into 401K - 10 paid holidays plus your birthday off! - Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Term Life, AD&D.  Company pays monthly premiums - Bonus program and yearly profit sharing! - IT Training opportunities and continued education for IT degree seekers! - Military Guard and Reserve benefits! ... and much more!

  • Clearance Requirements
  • Requires an active Top Secret security clearance with FSP upon hire and must meet SCI eligibility.
