SUMMARY :
Under limited supervision, the Senior Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining,
and repairing manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
JOB DUTIES
- Conducts regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and fixtures.
- Meets with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.
- Examines machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
- Maintains work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Designs a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
- Assembles mechanical components according to specifications.
- Maintains equipment parts inventory and orders parts as needed.
- May assist less experience employees when completing complex assignments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Manage outside technical services.
- Maintain facility and compliance with local regulations
- Manage and repair / building maintenance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
This job typically requires a high school diploma or GED and requires three (3) to five (5)
years’ experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Work effectively with customers, peers, and management to resolve issues.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to operate shop equipment safely.Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multi-limb coordination. Ability to live
50 pounds or more and stand for extended periods of time.
