Aetna Utilization Management Team Role

Join the Aetna Utilization Management team in a key role managing high priority / high profile clinical projects and implementations. The role will lead key projects within the UM organization ensuring all timelines are successfully met, is responsible for the preparation of presentation materials for executive stakeholders, serves as a key driver within the team of continuous quality improvement activities and collaborates cross-functionally within UM, ACS and with key stakeholders for success.

Responsibilities include :

• Acts as a specialist in project management, providing experience-based principals to lead and support successful project execution.
• Adapts project management methodologies and best practices to meet the unique needs of each project and ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
• Advises project teams and stakeholders on project management principles, practices, and approaches to enhance project outcomes and mitigate risks.
• Applies highly-developed project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Benchmarks project performance against industry standards, best practices, and key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving excellence.
• Checks project deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure timely and accurate project completion, providing guidance and support to project teams as needed.
• Consults on project management practices, processes, and tools, collaborating with stakeholders to establish effective project management frameworks and ensure successful project outcomes.

Pay Range :

The typical pay range for this role is $66,330.00 - $145,860.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
