Responsibilities

• Set up, and operates precision and production machines such as conventional and / or CNC mills, lathes, jig borers, and grinders to machine parts to specifications and / or to precision tolerances
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant low, and depth and angle of cut; adjust machine controls or control media as required
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using various measurement hand tools including, but not limited to, calipers, scales, micrometers, blocks, and gauges
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
