State Licensed Commercial Counsel

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to lead complex commercial negotiations and advise on legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

Structure, negotiate, and close various commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and NDAs

Support internal process improvements and create legal resources to enhance contracting processes

Advise stakeholders on contracting matters and collaborate with cross-functional teams on commercial initiatives

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree and member in good standing of the State Bar or the District of Columbia

5+ years of experience in-house and / or in law firms, preferably with professional services or tech companies

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

A low-ego, high-empathy orientation towards colleagues and partners

A proactive "doer" attitude willing to contribute as needed
