Power Platform Developer

Summary of Primary Functions :

Dobbs is seeking a Power Platform Developer who will support our product, sales, leadership, and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data and creating apps to support all departments. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of data analysis methods and programming using a variety of tools, building, and implementing models, using / creating algorithms, and creating / running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based apps. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned)

Develop a deep understanding of a particular problem space that’s relevant to the business and propose solutions to improve it.Conduct statistical analysis to extract insights from the data and communicate findings.Guide product and strategic decisions with experimentation and in-depth analysesBuild models that help optimize business decisions.Develop solutions that make data insights accessible to all.Use and develop APIs to extract existing information and augment the current dataset. Develop SQL queries in conjunction with PowerBI to develop reports needed for critical business functions. Develop and implement solutions using the Microsoft 365 suite of applications (i.e., SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Teams and Power BI)Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to the Microsoft 365 application suite.Power Suite specialist that creates new or converts existing solutions within the Microsoft Power SuiteUnderstand client objectives, diagnosing and mapping client requirements, articulating solution benefits, recommending technical approaches to unique Client situations.Design, configure, develop, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online projects according to requirements.Work with end-users to maximize their productively using Microsoft 365 / SharePointLead and facilitate information gathering sessions with Clients to evaluate current content structure and system requirements.Implements SharePoint Online environment by building appropriate Sites and configuring them to create a cohesive environment for the client.Stay current on all things Microsoft M365 / SharePoint, including changes / updates, roadmap, releases, and third-party solutions.Experience planning, designing, installing, customizing, testing, documenting, and training project solutions to ensure the customer is satisfied with the outcome of the project.

Data MiningCoding

Education, Skill, and / or Experience Requirements :

College degree and 2+ years or 5+ years of experience in Data Mining. Organization and communication skills must be highly developed. 3 years’ experience working with Microsoft Power PlatformsExperience consulting in Microsoft solutions with customers is required.Experience implementing Microsoft solutions is required.Knowledge of the Microsoft O365 stack / Azure is required.Knowledge of the SharePoint Framework and workflow processesExperience with Microsoft Power Platform highly preferredCoding knowledge and experience with several languages : C, C++, Java, JavaScript3 years of SQL experienceExperienced in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.   Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
