The Village at Marymount -

Physical Therapy Assistant

The Village at Marymount has an immediate opening for a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant.    U nder new management, is a Long-Term Care facility that is newly renovated and provides quality care to our residents.

Educational Requirements / Experience :

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA Program
  • Current OHIO State PTA License
  • Experience is a plus

Duties are varied and include :

  • Measuring & recording Residents’ motor function, strength & muscle performance.
  • Assists physical therapists in developing treatment plans.
  • Observe Residents and write progress reports.
  • Evaluate the capability of Residents to function independently.
  • Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises.
  • Treat Residents with varieties of techniques, like stretching and massage.
  • Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices.
  • Educate Residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle & improve mobility.
  • Maintain Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Work cooperatively with the Marymount team.
  • Take the extra mile and interact with residents as needed.
