A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CERTIFIED NURSING AIDE :

As a Nursing Aide on our Med Surg unit, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment for our patients, assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional and social support and attending to the patients' physical comfort. Clinical knowledge to perform general interventions for the patient, whether it is taking a pulse, helping with grooming, getting a lunch tray, or acting quickly in an emergency, what you do is important for the patient, significant other, nurses, and peers.

Night shift hours are from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, 3 days a week!

Requirements

• Current Kansas Nurses Aide Certification
• Current BLS certification
• Previous Nurse Aide experience preferably in a hospital setting
