Maintenance Automation Technician - 3rd Shift

Shift : 10 : 00 PM-8 : 00 AM

Hourly Rate : $27.27 an hour

The Automation Technician is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including the maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving automation, controls, and technology systems and equipment. You will be a facility wide resource. Candidate willing to accept automation and electrical maintenance responsibility while observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain the efficient flow of production. You will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will work on site at the Council Bluffs location. Start Rate $35.90 per hour, attendance Incentive $0.70 for 3rd shift .

Essential Job Functions :

• Work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
• Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment.
• Read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to manufacturing including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals
• Develop positive working relationships, working individually and with others as a team
• Communicate difficult concepts to non-technical individuals
• Travel for training and continuous improvement activities
• Lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required.

Two-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience.
