A company is looking for an OSP Engineer to work in the Salem, OR area.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks, including estimating, analyzing, and designing for copper and fiber cables
Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports while tracking job budgets and conducting periodic inspections
Collaborate with multiple groups to design network elements and implement solutions for Fiber to the Home and other services
Required Qualifications
Ability to identify existing voice / data plant and utilities on site plans and in the field
Experience managing other OSP Engineers and reviewing their projects
Expert knowledge of COE / OSP principles, work order procedures, and industry standards
Must have own tools such as a measuring wheel and laptop
Understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
