Primary Responsibilities
- Engage in the Electromagnetic (EM) and Low Observables (LO) design cycle, encompassing requirements definition, concept design, trade studies, detailed engineering design, and prototype testing.
- Provide comprehensive engineering support to customers and end-users.
- Utilize CAD software for product design and perform finite element analysis.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation to support both product development and customer reporting.
Basic Qualifications
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Science and / or Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Possession of a Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.Proficient in SolidWorks or Ansys, with excellent computer skills.Extensive experience across all phases of the engineering design cycle, from initial requirements to validation.Mastery of first principles engineering and outstanding problem-solving abilities.Capability to deliver engineering solutions within budget, schedule, and performance criteria.Skilled in the use of basic hand and shop tools for prototype development.Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.Effective in both independent and collaborative work environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful.Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degrees in Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics.Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for various design aspects, including Structural, Thermal, and Electromagnetics.Design experience in harsh environments.Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing techniques like machining and CNC.Programming skills in languages such as Matlab, C / C++, or Python for data manipulation and analysis.Familiarity with Electro-Optical Infrared (EO / IR) and RF sensor systems.Competence with MS Office.Note : Come innovate and tackle exciting engineering challenges. Pay Range : $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
