Overview

Pay & Location : 90,000k salary - Linthicum Heights, MD

Job Description

  • Data parsing and normalization
  • MS Access and Power BI with SQL Server
  • Scripting in PowerShell, Python, or similar
  • High-level Microsoft Excel (including Macros)
  • Familiarity with regular expressions
  • Experience with BankScan software or similar
  • Visual Basic (VBA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Use custom software to parse and normalize bank statement data.
  • Create templates for new types of bank statements.
  • Develop alternative data parsing methods when necessary.
  • Write and troubleshoot MS Access queries and database issues.
  • Generate reports using Power BI with a SQL server backend.

    • Qualifications

    Absolute Minimum : 1 year of experience plus a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

  • Alternatively, 5 years of specialized experience with no degree required.
  • Must obtain a Top Secret clearance

    • Job Location : Linthicum, MD (3 days per week on-site)

    Clearance & Background

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Minimal Background Investigation (MBI), Level 5 background investigation
  • Current Top-Secret Clearance required
  • Must complete fingerprinting, with results required before starting
  • Clearance process can take 3-4 months or more, though it may be faster
  • The process includes a thorough financial review
  • Managed by a third-party, with adjudication information available only after a waiver is granted
  • Transparency with candidates about the clearance process is essential before submission
  • Interview Process : 1-2 Zoom interviews

    Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

    W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits : medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state / locality.
