Urgent Care Physician Assistant - Float

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the PA’s Supervising Physician or Designated Agent, provides medical and surgical services to patients of the Urgent Care Clinic(s). Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of practice as a dependent medical practitioner.

Regular Full-time Float Providers :

• Act as a fill-in for any gaps in the schedule, call outs, and / or other coverage needs.
• Are “un-anchored” to a specific site or clinic (floating to any site within the regional market for Legacy / GoHealth), but with a set template (working same days each week).
• Shall expect last minute changes to site location(s) / assignments, since these are subject to daily fluctuations in patient volumes and / or absences of other staff that cannot be predicted and / or easily anticipated.
• Shall also reasonably expect more than one Legacy / GoHealth clinic to require assistance throughout any single workday; therefore, travel between locations is also anticipated.
