As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and communication skills contribute to a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

DayTime Sun 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in an educational environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations across the campus in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, facilities, and the perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and / or site management as needed.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site rules and regulations.
  • Support emergency response activities and provide assistance to first responders as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
