Our state-of-the-art Circularity Center, currently under construction in Houston, TX, will be the first large scale facility in the United States, designed to process a diverse range of post-consumer, commercial, and industrial plastic waste. This innovative center will have the capacity to produce 300 million pounds of custom-formulated feedstock per year and convert it into ISCC-PLUS-certified feedstock suitable for mechanical and advanced recycling applications.

Role Overview

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Technology, you will design, develop, and maintain data systems and architecture to support our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection, processing, and analysis to drive efficiency and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and IT teams to understand data requirements and design data solutions.
• Maintain and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance data capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience and Education

Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be :

Experience :

Equivalent to five plus years increasingly responsible experience designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and architecture to support manufacturing operations. Experience working with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection, processing, and analysis to drive efficiency and quality improvements.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or extensive industry experience .

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE :

Possession of one or more of the following certifications is desirable : Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer and Certified Data Management Professional.

Position Mechanics

Reports to : Senior Director, Technology Systems

Type : Exempt; Full-time

Work Hours : Flexible, 8 : 00–5 : 00, on site Monday to Thursday with Friday as a work from home day. Occasional evenings / weekends as needed.

Location : The Woodlands

Work environment : Primarily an office environment, but may also work in an industrial environment at times where the use of PPE is required.

Travel : Minimal - Less than 10% as needed to meet with members and attend off-site meetings

Physical Demand is substantially that of an office environment. Occasional lifting and manual work.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status.
