Mac Haik Ford Lincoln is hiring Auto Service Technicians / Auto Mechanics for our service department in Victoria. We have served the area for over 15 years and offer steady work and a 30-hour weekly guarantee for qualified technicians with 2+ years of experience.
Not Ford certified yet? We will pay for your Ford factory training while you work.
What You Could Do
- Perform maintenance and repair work on Ford and Lincoln vehicles following dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose basic to advanced vehicle concerns including drivability, electrical issues, engine performance, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and HVAC systems
- Use scan tools, OBD-II diagnostics, and electrical testing equipment to identify problems and confirm repairs
- Complete oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, inspections, and general mechanical repairs
- Perform brake jobs, suspension repairs, and steering component replacement
- Assist with or perform engine and transmission repairs based on experience level
- Complete recall and warranty repairs with proper documentation
- Document all work performed on repair orders, including cause and correction notes
- Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Who We Are Looking For
- Entry level technicians, lube technicians, and experienced auto mechanics are encouraged to apply
- Previous automotive repair experience preferred but not required for entry-level roles
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
Pay & Benefits
- $30 to $50 per flag hour for Ford certified technicians
- $20 to $35 per flag hour for technicians in training
- 30 hour per week guarantee for qualified technicians with 2+ years of experience
