[job_card.job_description]Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below : Monitors data integrity and identifies corrective actions or processes Performs data munging and identifies opportunities to leverage GIS information. Creates ad hoc and standardized reports dashboards and views on geographic data utilizing data visualization Mines and analyzes data to design digital maps currently in Vetro. âUses geoprocessing tools to manipulate extract locate and analyze geographic data. Coordinates with IT for interface and accessibility of data Investigates and proposes opportunities to leverage GIS information Develops and implements policies and procedures to guide Market Expansion operations Interfaces between IT Operations Marketing the Market Expansion staff All other related duties as assigned. Bachelors Degree or equivalent in geography cartography planning computer science engineering or related field with an emphasis in GIS / GPS 1-5 years experience in a GIS environment To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to understand databases and extract / manipulate information Ability to create or update maps Experience with GIS mapping applications used for asset management Exceptional attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate a dynamic environment. Able to problem solve-individually or as part of a team. Possesses attention to detail and good problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset. MS Office Suite : Outlook Powerpoint Word Excel OneNote. Experience with reporting creating tables process flow charts high level analytics. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regularly required to talk and hear. Frequently required to sit stand bend reach push pull and walk. Required to use hands handle objects and paperwork. Required to use close vision and be able to focus. Required to refrain from personal use of technology during working hours. Required to lift up to10lbs at a given time. Overview of Position Responsibilities : The GIS Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the GIS Team produces consumable data generating reports and conducting analytics and maintaining data integrity.
- This is a hybrid role based in Denver CO with 2 days in office
