Opportunity :

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details :

  • Work in high-volume, 2-room EP lab open 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM daily
  • Handle patient ratio of 1 : 5 with adult to geriatric patient population
  • Required to scrub and circulate procedures or be extremely efficient in one area
  • Perform electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker implants, leadless pacemaker implants, ICD implants, bi-ventricular implants, EP studies, RF, cryo and PFA ablations
  • Handle PVI procedures, VT, SVT, LAAO procedures and concomitant studies
  • Work with specialized EP cases including Farapulse pulse field ablation, LAAO Watchman procedures, and leadless pacemakers
  • 2 late shifts per week required (staying past scheduled shift until cases complete, typically no later than 6 : 00-6 : 30 PM)
  • No weekend coverage required
  • Floating responsibilities as needed
  • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
  • Holiday coverage required based on number of holidays during assignment period
  • Must have minimum 2 years of experience (first timers not accepted)
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS
  • Must have RN, RT(R) or CVT (RCIS) or (RCES) background
  • Epic experience required, plus familiarity with Pyxis, Abbott Claris EP recording system, GE Mac Lab
  • Georgia or compact license required at time of submission
  • Travel experience required
  • Scrubs provided by facility

The facility features a high-volume, 2-room EP lab that serves a significant patient population with advanced cardiac care needs. The organization maintains state-of-the-art equipment including Abbott Claris EP recording systems and GE Mac Lab technology, providing comprehensive electrophysiology services including cutting-edge procedures like pulse field ablation and leadless pacemaker technology.
