Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Neuro Job Details : Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM Seasonal travel assignment 38-bed medical surgical neurology unit on 7th floor Patient ratio of 4 : 1 (currently running some 5 : 1 due to staffing) Work with IV pumps, seizure monitoring equipment, Bi-pap, C-pap, and glucometers Use Meditech EMR system Perform NIH / stroke assessments and neuro assessments Conduct fall risk assessments Provide trach care and feeding tube management Required certifications : NIH certification, BLS Heavy medical-surgical background required ACLS preferred Neurology experience preferred Must be highly motivated team player with excellent critical thinking skills Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work well under pressure Passionate about neurology patient population preferred Facility : This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides specialized neurological care with a dedicated medical surgical neurology unit.
