The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Lead performs clinical laboratory testing of blood and body fluid constituents as requested by physicians. Evaluates and reports data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Serves as an authority on test procedures in the laboratory. Assists in training and maintenance of staff competencies.
Your Everyday
Ensures / provides quality specimens for laboratory testing :
Operates systems / methodologies in order to produce data for patients, QC and proficiency testing :
Reports clinical data so that care givers receive timely patient information :
Maintains systems to ensure maximum up-times :
Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory standards in order to satisfy compliance requirements :
Overviews daily operations of department / section for optimum operation :

3 years in General Clinical Lab
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree From accredited college, university or equivalent
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners as a CLS
