Nonprofit Farm / Riding Program - No Horse Experience Necessary

Since 2013, The Barn has been providing equine interactions to help people become the best version of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We offer adaptive and traditional riding lessons, equine-assisted learning classes, and equine therapy sessions.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS :

Barn crew a lot of horses equals a lot of cleaning! Volunteers help clean the stalls and pastures every morning, Monday through Saturday. Hours are 8-10am Oct-May and 7-9am June-Sept. No prior horse experience needed.

Sidewalking physically assisting students who need a little extra support to stay balanced on their horses. These sessions are typically 30 minutes long. No prior horse experience needed.

Lesson assistant helping young, beginner, and / or special needs students with grooming, saddling, and riding. These sessions are typically one hour long. You do need horse experience (and we're happy to train you, too!).

The Barn is located at Tumbling T Ranch, a working farm. If you have any interest in gardening, farm animal care, general mechanics, or other farm-related activities or abilities, please let us know!

All volunteers do need to sign a liability release. Please wear boots or close-toed shoes.
