Title : Parts Kitter
Location : Dallas, TX
Shift : 1st Shift M-F 6am-2 : 30pm
Pay Range : $18 / hr – $20 / hr
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Kitter to support warehouse and production operations through accurate material handling, kitting, and inventory control. This role is well-suited for individuals who are organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties :
- Pull required parts and materials based on requisitions, order lists, or stock lists.
- Use checklists to verify accuracy and completeness of kits.
- Read and apply color-coding, schematics, and basic work instructions.
- Prepare and inspect components prior to kitting or distribution.
- Accumulate and stage completed orders; report shortages or discrepancies.
- Transport materials to staging areas, distribution points, or manufacturing lines.
- Process returned materials and handle unscheduled material issues.
- Compile and maintain inventory records of materials received, stocked, and issued.
- Perform cycle counting and assist with inventory audits.
- Prepare material requests for procurement and replenishment.
- Operate material handling and warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electronic scales, and staple guns.
- Utilize MRP systems, data entry tools, spreadsheets, and telephones as part of daily operations.
- Audit completed kits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to read and understand basic instructions, color codes, schematics, and simple sentences.Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and number sequences.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Experience with kitting, inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations is a plus.Comfortable using basic computer systems, spreadsheets, and data entry tools.Forklift experience or certification is beneficial but not required.Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
