A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer 4.
Key Responsibilities :
Utilize advanced structural engineering tools to design Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures, including post-processing analytical results
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and structural engineering consultants to coordinate design activities and resolve technical challenges
Develop, review, and finalize requirement documents, methodology documents, design reports, and related studies
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; an advanced degree is preferred
At least 8 years of experience in nuclear / non-nuclear structural design
Proficiency in designing and analyzing concrete and steel structures, with expertise in design software and finite element method analyses
Familiarity with codes such as ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690
Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
