Job Title : Remote Pharmacist

Location : Deerfield, IL

Employment Type : Temporary, Remote

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Pay Rate : $50-$60 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Illinois Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in a remote capacity. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and regulatory compliance. As a Remote Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant medication dispensing across remote operations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy and completeness in prescription processing and dispensing.

Oversee record keeping and licensing to maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Review and update pharmacy protocols to align with regulatory standards.

Communicate with remote pharmacists and customer service personnel to verify order entries and resolve issues.

Maintain required documentation, including exception reporting.

Support continuous improvement by contributing to procedural updates.

Ensure compliance with SOPs, JCAHO standards, and applicable regulations.

Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned by the Board of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

Active Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing.

Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.

Flexibility to work Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
