Providing teletherapy services for students in a school setting requires specialized skills and a dedicated approach. This role offers an opportunity to support children across multiple private school locations, delivering Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services via teletherapy.
Responsibilities include :
- Delivering Speech-Language Pathology therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, utilizing teletherapy modalities.
- Managing a diverse caseload with varying communication needs and developmental levels.
- Collaborating remotely with educators, families, and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation consistent with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Essential qualifications and experience :
Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is mandatory.Experience providing teletherapy services within educational settings.Expertise in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders across a range of ages.Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage remote caseloads and coordinate with multiple school locations.Candidates must be fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (Voco SLP); openings for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) or Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) are not considered.This contract position offers full-time or part-time hours, typically 35 hours weekly Monday through Friday, with service duration anticipated through June 5, 2026.
