Description :

The position involves working in an adult psychiatric unit.

Common diagnoses include depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders.

The unit consists of 28 beds, which includes a designated area for acute patients.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Charting will be done using Meditech.

Weekend work is required every other weekend.

Floating may be required based on skill set.

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a special procedure performed on the unit.

Qualified candidates will receive an offer that must be accepted or declined within 48 hours.
