We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicatedCareerConsultantto assist people with disabilities find direct community employment. This critical role involves working one-on-one withjobseekers to identify their unique strengths, interests, and contributions via Minnesota Customized Employment, ultimately leading to a mutually beneficialjobmatch with a local employer. This isn't just about finding ajob; it's about crafting a perfectfit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Discovery Process : Conduct comprehensive assessments and activities in community-based, non-work settings to uncover thejobseeker's strengths, interests, ideal conditions of employment, and valuable contributions using the Minnesota Customized Employment (MNCE) and Discovery model. This involves interviewing thejobseeker, family members, and friends.
- Develop a Vocational Profile : Synthesize all gathered Discovery information into a detailed Vocational Profilethat clearly defines the candidate's unique value proposition.
- JobCreation / Negotiation : Utilize the MNCE Profile to engage with potential employers and negotiate / customizejobdutiesthat meet the employer's unmet needs while aligning perfectly with thejobseeker's identified goals, contributions, and skillset.
- JobCoaching & Support : Provide initial on-sitejobcoaching and fading support to ensure thejobseeker's successful transition and retention in the customized position.
- Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation for all services provided, adhering to state and federal regulations.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with the Epic Enterprise team, families, and funding sources to ensure a cohesive and effective employment plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Work, Education, Psychology) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 1-2 years experienceinjobdevelopment, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field.Proven knowledge and experience in the Discovery Process and MNCEprinciples are highly desirable.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write professional MCNE plans and effectively negotiate with employers.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.Must possess a valid drivers license, epic provides vehicles for transportation of clients.EOE

Benefits
Benefit package after two full months of full-time employment to include medical (employee contribution), dental, vision, 401K plan, short-term disability, long-term disability, group life insurance, and other elective coverages. Personal time off and eight paid holidays included.
Pay : Nonexempt, $18.00-$20.00 per hour based upon education and experience.
Hours : 1.0 FTE
Adaptable Schedule : This could potentially include hybrid work, and or up to Mon-Sun depending on the needs of our clients. Our priority is delivering exceptional service to our diverse customers and client base. To meet these critical needs, your schedule will be collaboratively designed.
