Histology Technician

We are seeking Histology Technician to join IQVIAs laboratory businessat Valencia CA.

Shift : Monday - Friday with flexibility on start time between 5 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM.

Perform routine tissue processing including paraffin embedding sectioning and staining to support accurate and timely pathological analysis.

What Youll Be Doing :

Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists in accordance with established procedures

Perform staining techniques to support pathological assessments

Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment

Ensure compliance with CLIA CAP and other regulatory standards

Assist with process improvements SOP updates and troubleshooting

Maintain inventory and support lab organization in alignment with 6S standards

Document activities in accordance with good documentation practices and regulatory guidelines

Support study setup coordination and cross-functional projects as needed

What We Are Looking For :

High School Diploma or equivalent

23 years of experience in a histopathology lab or related discipline

ASCP qualification or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in a clinical research academic or production lab

Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures

Proficiency in histology techniques staining procedures and use of specialized laboratory equipment

Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues

Effective communication and collaboration with coworkers managers and clients
