Job Summary :

DT Professional Services is seeking a Drafter / CAD Operator IV to support our NSWC team in Port Hueneme CA. This position develops and leads the creation of highly complex precision engineering drawings and models for advanced and original design projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and revise highly complex original and precision engineering drawings and 3D models for advanced design projects.
  • Lead unusually difficult drafting assignments requiring independent judgment technical expertise and innovative problem-solving.
  • Apply advanced proficiency in CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks Revit) to develop accurate standards-compliant design documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project leads to translate complex concepts into detailed construction and manufacturing drawings.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience preparingdrawings or computer models of unusual complex or original designs that require a high degree of precision performs unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative resourcefulness and drafting expertise.
  • Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD SolidWorks Revit or equivalent is preferred

    • The compensation for this position : $37.58 Hourly
