Additional Information :

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

Minimum Years of Experience : 3 years

Traveler Experience : Unit accepts 1st time travelers

Skills : Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Laser Assisted Procedures, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI), Scrub Procedures, Temporary Pacemaker, Watchman, Stocks supplies, Arrhythmia Induction, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Circulate Procedures, Conduction Studies, Electrophysiology Evaluation, Insertion / Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Pacemaker Insertion, Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Sterile Technique

Certs : ACLS, BLS

JOB DETAILS :

Can be a tech or an RN

Avg Daily Census : 15 cases

Shift : 4x10 0730-1800

• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Ablations : VT, PVI, CV, A-Flutter, AV Node; ICD / Pacer Placement and exchanges; Laser Lead Extraction; Lead extraction; LAAO

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT : PFA; Cryo; ESI; IVUS; Cardio Lab; EPIC : CUPID

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, Cupid : EPIC & Cardio Lab, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION : 30 hours
