Since our family owned & operated restaurant, Grand Slam Restaurant & Bar, opened in 2007, it had become a favorite neighborhood hang out in the area. Through the years, we have grown from a sports bar into a full service restaurant known for amazing food, featuring bar favorites such as great sandwiches, wings, pizzas and burgers, but also offering entrees such as monthly zoodle dishes, steak and seafood options, and more. On June 12, 2019, we suffered a major fire, resulting in a complete gut and remodel, and we re-opened in December 2019 with an expanded, state of the art kitchen.

We strive to offer a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We feature live music appropriate for dinner and fun, as well as karaoke at night. It's a great place to wine, dine and unwind on a daily basis!

Our line cooks are responsible for producing our high quality food, as well as barback as needed. We are located on 519 Mae Ct., Fenton, MO 63026. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working. This person is excited to create dishes that taste and look great, and is dedicated to exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Clean up station and take care of leftover food

Stock inventory

Clean kitchen and restaurant as needed

Qualifications

Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred

Able to meet all scheduling commitments; reliable transportation or method of getting to work

Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs

Strong attention to detail

Able to work nights and weekends

Willingness to work as a team, with both front and back of house staff

Willingness and ability to be coached

Salary Negotiable Based on Experience
