Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers.
- Check and maintain quality and speed of service.
- Ability to suggestively upsell food and beverage options.
- Prepare drink orders for both bar patrons and server’s tables.
- Stay updated on current menu items and pricing.
- Communicate effectively with team members throughout the shift.
- Properly check IDs before serving alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a clean workspace and complete all required side work.
Qualifications
Must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory level.
Education and / or Experience :
2 years secondary education and must be of legal age per local law.Computer Skills :
Ability to operate POS register system.Ability to understand Microsoft Windows.Language Skills :
Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group scenarios to customers and fellow team members.Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate and percent.Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions.Ability to efficiently work with people.Other Skills and Abilities :
Must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.Must have a positive, courteous, energetic, and enthusiastic personality. These traits should be used in all aspects of customer andcoworker interactions.
