[job_card.job_description]Manage recurring monthly tasks for multiple clients, including : Bank reconciliations Credit card reconciliations Accounts receivable and accounts payable processing Perform monthly and quarter-end close processes. Prepare quarterly financial statements. Prepare documentation and schedules for audit readiness. Reconcile accounts, review transactions, and ensure data accuracy. Leverage Sage Intacct and Yardi for client accounting and reporting. Adapt quickly to evolving processes and systems. Contribute to improving efficiency and organization within the team. Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA certification preferred but not required At least 1 year of accounting experience, with an emphasis on financial reporting and general ledger management Experience in the commercial real estate industry is preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in accounting softwares and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Deer Park, IL Hybrid work environment Championing the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion by embracing the unique stories, backgrounds, perspectives and ideas that come from our people; and Offering a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package, which allows each employee to use the benefits that best suits their needs. As an Accounting Advisory Solutions Experienced Staff, Real Estate Industry Clients, you'll work directly with real estate clients to support complex accounting and financial reporting needs. You'll assist with technical accounting, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations while developing your expertise in diverse business environments. This role offers the opportunity to build strong technical skills, contribute to high-impact client projects, and grow alongside experienced advisors in a collaborative, dynamic setting.
Client & Team Interaction
- Serve as a key member of a small, tight-knit real estate advisory group.
- Collaborate with pod members, internal teams, and clients to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
- Support clients using Sage Intacct and Yardi for accounting processes.
