Position : Machine Shop Inspector - Level 3
Location : Clackamas, OR
Pay : $30 - $35 / hour (DOE)
Schedule : Day Shift | Monday - Thursday 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM | Friday 7 : 00 AM - 11 : 00 AM

We are a manufacturer of precision machined components specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. We are expanding to a second location in Clackamas, Oregon and looking to add skilled team members who want to advance their manufacturing careers by collaborating with a diverse and talented group.
What You'll Do :
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of parts, components, assemblies, and raw materials; document and communicate inspection results.
- Prepare First Part and In-Process Inspection reports using precision handheld measurement tools, CMM, gauges, etc.
- Review customer acceptance criteria to ensure proper inspection methods and identify / document drawing or specification errors.
- Respond to customer requests and inquiries related to product quality.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to prevent non-conforming products and improve processes.
- Create nonconformance reports and corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure accountability for ISO 9001 : 2015 quality system and standards; train new employees on ISO 9001 : 2015.
- Set up and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), develop improvement plans, and review with management.
- Operate CMM and Faro Laser Tracker.

Extensive knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipmentStrong understanding of machining and machining processesAbility to read blueprints and interpret GD&TExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience running CMM with basic programming skillsGood judgment and ability to make independent decisionsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to learn and use company ERP systemsKnowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015 and / or AS9100 Quality Management Systems preferredPreferred :
Associate's degree in business, quality control, or related field ORFive years of experience as a quality inspector or equivalentPhysical Requirements :
