Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Registered Nurse who will be responsible for providing coding services with high efficiency and accuracy. The primary goal is to ensure smooth and effective coding processes, focusing on Pro Fee and Orthopedic coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle INPTs with a rate of 3 charts per hour.
- Manage Observation cases at 4 charts per hour.
- Process SDS (Day, Day on NU, Admit) with 5 charts per hour.
- Handle Pro Fee Clinics at 10 charts per hour, with a daily total of 85.
- Manage Pro Fee - Day Surg, Day on NU, INPT, Surg Admit at 9 charts per hour.
- Process Pro Fee - Anest patients at 9 charts per hour.
- Handle Radiology--HB at 12 charts per hour.
- Manage Radiology--PB cases at 20 charts per hour.
Qualifications - 3+ years of Profee coding experience.
- Valid Coding Certification.
- 3 years of Orthopedic Coding experience (must be recent).
Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in Profee coding.
- Recent experience in Orthopedic Coding.
Skills - Proficiency in Epic and 3M software is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork capability.
Additional Requirements - Pediatric experience is considered a plus.
