Overview Employment Defense Opportunity - DTLA/Hybrid - Up to $300k Base + Bonus Upside - National Firm About us Founded over five decades ago and based in Los Angeles, with multiple offices around the nation, we are a national labor and employment firm with approximately with close to 300 attorneys across 27 offices. We have built one of the nation’s leading defense-side practices focused on labor law, employment law, litigation, business immigration, employee benefits, and executive compensation. We help employers reduce workplace risk, defend claims, and stay compliant in an increasingly regulated and fast-changing employment landscape. Responsibilities Handle substantive labor and employment matters for employer clients Advise employers on workplace decisions, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies Defend clients in employment-related claims, disputes, and litigation Counsel employers on federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and other employment-related documents Manage employment matters from initial assessment through resolution Handle or support wage and hour matters, including class action work where applicable Partner with clients to develop practical legal strategies aligned with business objectives Compensation and Work Arrangements Competitive Base Salary Up to $300k (DOE) + Bonuses 10% origination bonus, plus a production bonus starting at $20k for the first 100 hours over the annual billable minimum, increasing by $5k for every additional 50 hours Hybrid-remote Flexibility - 2 days onsite Join one of the nation’s leading labor and employment defense firms Looking For J.D. and active California Bar admission 6+ years of labor and employment experience Strong background in employment litigation, California employment law, and employer-side counseling Wage and hour and class action experience is a plus Interested in hearing more?
