Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in podiatry and woundcare. Will be committed to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. This role involves diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions, performing surgical procedures when necessary, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric ailments, including but not limited to sports injuries, diabetic foot care, and wound management.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed, including corrective surgeries and minor outpatient procedures.
• Educate patients on proper foot care, preventive measures, and rehabilitation exercises.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals in areas such as sports medicine, geriatrics, and sleep medicine to provide holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice podiatry.
• Experience or knowledge in areas such as podiatric emergency medicine and wound care
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with a focus on safety and comfort.
