Company Description

  • Start Date :   ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon
  • Hourly Wage Estimate :     $16.00 hourly

Part Time Schedule :  2-3 shifts per week

shifts :   some shifts will be 6 : 30am -2 : 30pm and others will be 12 : 00pm-8 : 00pm with an every other weekend rotation.  You must have availability to work both shifts.

    What you will do in this role :

    As a Dietary Aide, you play an important role in caring for our patients. For most, a meal is more than just food — it’s a moment of comfort and connection during a challenging time. Your kindness and attention help bring smiles and strength, making a real difference every day.

  • Serve meals with care and encouragement
  • Clear and clean tables, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining space
  • Assist with dishwashing and support the kitchen team to keep everything running smoothly
  • Work closely with your team to ensure every patient receives the right meal, on time, with a friendly touch

    • Qualifications

    Dietary Aide :   Officially we title this job a Dietary Aide, but in other centers it may be called a Restaurant Server, or a Dishwasher.

    What we need from you :

  • ServSafe Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
  • Some prior food service experience – specifically in a medical facility or commercial / central kitchen is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computer-based documentation systems
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, move and / or lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and pass a pre-employment physical and background check

    This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT.  We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
