Accounts payable processor

A leading organization in the wine, spirits, and beverage distribution industry is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support its high-volume Shared Services operation. This role is responsible for processing a large volume of invoices, expense reports, and vendor transactions across 40+ locations nationwide while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented AP professional with SAP experience who thrives in high-volume, deadline-driven accounting operations.

salary : $20 - $25 per hour

shift : First

work hours : 9 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities

• Enter and process high-volume vendor invoices (750-800+ per week) with limited information in SAP / S4 HANA
• Validate sales tax, general ledger coding, chargebacks, and supplier billing information
• Process employee travel and expense reports in SAP
• Research vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams
• Process demand check requests and invoices from operating divisions
• Retrieve, review, and process utility and telecommunications invoices
• Support credit memo processing and ensure completeness and accuracy
• Maintain invoice files and provide backup documentation to vendors and internal teams
• Assist new divisions with SAP invoice and AP setup
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency
