Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Supervise a group of 15 - 21 campers.
  
• Assist with and participate in camp activities.
  
• Interpret safety and health regulations to his/her group such as emergency procedures to guide his/her campers in participation in group, unit, and camp-wide activities.
  
• Recognize and respond to opportunities for problem-solving in the group.
  
• Develop opportunities for interaction between campers and staff.
  
• Provide opportunities for the group so that each camper experiences success.
  
• Set a good example for campers and others, including cleanliness, punctuality, sharing clean-up and chores, sportsmanship, and table manners.
  
• Report any concerns or issues to a coordinator.
  
• Follow camp rules and regulations pertaining to smoking, use of alcoholic beverages, and use of drugs.
  

Minimum qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  
• Must have experience caring for children.
  
• Must be available Mon-Fri, 35-40 hours a week, for all 9 weeks of camp plus a week of camp training (5/26/26 - 7/31/26).
