Job Overview

BRIXCO Construction, Inc. is hiring a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment & Fleet Mechanic to support our growing fleet of trucks and construction equipment across the Bay Area. In this vital role, you'll diagnose, service, and repair a diverse lineup of vehicles and heavy machinery, ensuring our crews and projects operate smoothly and safely. This is a hands-on position where your mechanical expertise directly contributes to our project success and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment and commercial vehicles
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components
• Dismantle, overhaul, and reassemble equipment and machinery as needed
• Use computer-based diagnostic tools and software to maintain accurate service records
• Manage parts orders, tracking, and inventory for repairs
• Provide input on maintenance schedules and equipment improvements
• Assist in mobilization / setup of equipment for job sites as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard
• Transport parts and materials between suppliers, the shop, and job sites
