About the opportunity : Assistant Structural Designer

We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Structural Designer to help us achieve our company mission. This person will be part of the Civil / Structural team, which is responsible for developing designs for structural layouts in facilities such as refineries, distilleries, and consumer packaging facilities. C&I is an employee-owned, full-service engineering design firm providing engineering / design / project management and procurement services to various clients

Responsibilities include :

• Create structural steel, reinforced concrete, and site design drawings.
• Use 3D modeling software to design structures. (CADWorx is preferred).
• The Structural Designer uses AutoCAD and / or Microstation.
• Assists others in gathering field information with supervision.
• Check own work for completeness before submitting it to leads.
• Files plots, and checks prints in the project discipline file.
