Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Taos, New Mexico (Zip : 87571) - New Mexico nursing jobs Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital, 18 beds Assignment : Travel RN contract Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2020-$2070 Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 Scrub Color : Any Charting System : Evident Parking : Free onsite Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (New Mexico or compact state) required prior to start Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience (2.5 years preferred) Certifications : ACLS, BLS, and PALS (PALS may be obtained on-site within first week) Experience with telemetry and medical-surgical patient care Ability to manage a 1 : 6 patient ratio in a fast-paced setting Two professional references required at submission Must meet 75-mile radius rule (local candidates not accepted) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required THC / marijuana use not permitted (testing enforced) First-time travel nurses welcome!
