Telemetry Technician

Description

The monitor technician, under the supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse, has the responsibility for monitoring and reporting the ECG activity of patients on the telemetry unit. The position is an important communication link with the RN regarding changes in cardiac rhythms.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Medical terminology course or experience.

• Coursework/Training: Basic ECG course and successful completion of PRMCE ECG test.

• upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
