Utilizing state of the art CT MRI ultrasound and angiographic technology youll help deliver cutting edge patient-centered care in partnership with the renowned UPMC Hamot Hilman Cancer Role : Primarily Interventional Radiology procedures with rotations into Diagnostic Radiology. Regional Interventional Radiology clinics required- all within driving distance to Erie Diagnostic Imaging : Includes CT MRI Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine Nuclear Cardiology Diagnostic Radiology. The Interventionalist primarily covers the ED list when Procedures : Angiography angioplasty bone marrow biopsy embolization IVC filters TACE ablation mediport placement biliary / nephrostomy drainage feeding tube insertion nerve blocks epidural injections paracentesis and thoracentesis Coverage : Weekday Evening Coverage 1 : 4 Weekend Coverage 1 : 4Qualifications : MD / DO from an accredited medical schoolAmerican Board Eligible American Board Certified or Canadian Board Certified in Interventional Radiology with strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging and the ability to perform a broad range of general radiology proceduresAbility to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentialsDEA certificationA commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential as we prioritize delivering the highest quality care in a compassionate professional environmentWhat Can UPMC Do For YouNon-Profit Health System Employed Model
