Accountant/Accounts Manager

• Manage full monthly accounting cycles, including A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, and compliance filings.
• Clean up and maintain client books to a professional standard.
• Interpret and explain financial information clearly, with accuracy and empathy.
• Oversee client accounts and potentially lead others, ensuring timely and thorough service delivery.
• Partner with clients as a trusted advisor, not just a technician.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting + 2 years’ experience, or 7+ years of progressive experience at an accounting firm.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop & Online).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A love of details, structure, and process improvement.
• Self-discipline and follow-through - with or without supervision.
• A team-first attitude and commitment to mutual success.

• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
• Experience with platforms like Jetpack, Gusto, Swizznet, and POS systems.
• Comfort with budgeting, forecasting, or accounting systems setup.
