REQUIRES CURRENT / RECENT INSURANCE CARRIER ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE

We're assisting this relatively new Life & Annuity insurance group in their search for an insurance accountant at the senior level. We're targeting a minimum of 5 years' experience in either a Life or P&C corporate accounting unit with solid technical skills and an eye for detail and project management. This is a ground floor growth opportunity with high visibility. Will be the point lead for Statutory Reporting and will have a major role in current financial package integrations. Will report to wonderful hiring manager / Director of Finance who is known for their relationship building skills.

This Director is specifically looking for an individual who is well-seasoned enough in insurance finance who can step in and be their right-hand. This hire must have a deep understanding of the nuances of insurance finance. We're looking for this Sr Accountant to step in and help build the Finance Team from the ground up which would include- setting up all policies, procedures, integrate new accounting systems including a new statutory reporting system and "anything and everything included in setting up a professional Finance and Accounting Team".

We're looking for a self-directed individual who will work collaboratively who will jump onboard to assist in the goal of bringing this entire project to its live date and getting this area up and running as smoothly and quickly as possible.

This role will require superb Microsoft Office Suite skills and a 4-year degree.Additional information :

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus of up to 20%.
