Duties;
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical assistance, consultation, and guidance in utilizing the various procurement methods in the day-to-day activities.
This position is also responsible for ensuring the procurement of goods and services are in compliance with all federal and state procurement laws, rules, and regulations.
Coordinates DOCD s purchasing, which involves acquisition/disposition of material, supplies, furniture, equipment, etc.
Coordinates the purchase of office and maintenance supplies and/or materials utilizing the various methods of procurement. Analyzes supply usage and needs to determine when to change or discontinue stocked supplies.
Required:
One (1) year of experience in dealing with purchases of a moderately complex and complex nature and demonstrates
Knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques;
Ability to interview users, vendors and others regarding user requirements
