Illinois Worker's Compensation Specialist

A company is looking for a Worker's Compensation Claim Specialist to manage complex claims and ensure fair resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a personal caseload of moderate to complex worker's compensation claims, including litigated matters

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims within contractual and legal obligations

Maintain timely communication with insureds, attorneys, agents, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance education and experience

Minimum 10 years of increasing claim-handling experience, including at least 5 years in commercial claims and 3 years handling litigated files

Experience handling Illinois Worker's Compensation claims highly preferred

Professional designations (AIC, SCLA, CPCU) or active progress toward one

Ability to train and mentor others as needed
