Job Title : Occupational Therapist (OT)

Overview :
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team. The ideal candidate is committed to helping students develop the fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills needed to thrive in the classroom and beyond. You’ll play a key role in supporting access to education through individualized, evidence-based interventions that promote independence and participation.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and educational needs
- Provide direct and consultative services to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and assist in goal setting and service delivery
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance requirements
- Support school-wide initiatives promoting motor development and sensory regulation
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational TherapistNBCOT certification preferredExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsPrior school-based experience preferred but not requiredBenefits :
